Be a WARRIOR :)

Indeed!

My FOREEEEEVER :)

Love, trust, and faithfulness would be the main ingredients of my ideal marriage. We should both have jobs and had earned quite a living before we had married to ensure the future of our kids. Of course, an ideal marriage should have kids. Two or three would do. We will have our own house and lot, a car, and everything that is quite ”sophisticated”. My partner would be someone who has known me for quite some time. He can be my best friend, my lover and my brother at the same time.
Our partnership should be a bond that makes the both of us grow individually and together as one. Each of us should know how to compromise and sacrifice, understand and forgive, adjust and trust. I know that no relationship is perfect and it would not always be a smooth ride. A lot of marriages have been broken and sometimes it is a realization for a fresh start, but most of the time it breaks the heart not only of the two persons involved, but most especially their kids’ outlook of love and marriage.
Lastly and most importantly, the most ideal kind of partnership has God in the center. My partner and I should love God, honor him and delight him more than anyone or anything else in this world. We should both know that whatever differences we have and obstacles, sufferings and challenges we may face, God is with us. In the center of our relationship. And with that, we know we could make our perfectly imperfect forever :)

Keeping it REAL

There are not really a lot that happened to me this month. However, I have one “experience” that I surely will remember for the rest of my days.

September 10, 2015
I came to school late for our 10 am class in EngSpec19, Language Research. When I arrived, my fellow English majors were already outside REXIL. They told me ma’am Patron just gave instructions and dismissed the class after. Well, I was glad about it xD The odds are in favor with our plans for today. Actually, the group decided to go to sir Cardenio’s house in Dauin because today is their fiesta. Everyone was excited about it although some like Ate Jackie won’t be coming with us (because of her diet). However, due to reasons I don’t quite comprehend, the “organizer” backed out and we were left hanging. But we decided to push through. Jezzel, Sarah, Mich and me. We invited John rey for we can see how disappointed he is for this day which ended to be “sabotaged”. Sadly, his adrenaline just gave up and he went home out of mood. The four of us, however, were determined. We went to different houses which if I am going to enumerate would make this longer J We really had a great time. We went from Lipayo to Masaplod Norte to Masaplod Sur. We walked, talked, ate and of course, enjoyed. A lot. Actually, we really decided to go because we were depressed. These days, we are dwelling with issues with our fellow English majors. Well, some of them. It is painful to know that they talk behind our backs and tell things about us that you know, aren’t good. That is why I appreciated the presence of these three girls, Mich, Sarah and Jezzel because they do not talk ill things behind my back or maybe they have, but not “bad” things. And maybe that’s why I loved this day. Because I was happy. Happy that I am with the people who know me but do not judge me.

P.S.
Of course, I ate a lot. So, happy tummy! And happy heart because HE was with us J <3

Groping in the Dark

Most people are scared or even hate the dark. Aside from the creepy feeling it brings, we cannot see things and cannot be able to accomplish tasks. Lucky for us now, we are blessed with the wonders of electricity. Through it, everything is faster, easier and more convenient. However, during times when voltage is not available, we should learn how to be independent without it. There are not really a lot of things I do during blackouts or when there is no voltage, but I can enumerate some for you:

1.       I sleep. Especially if it is night time. I try my best to close my eyes because the darkness is the same as when I open them, and since the environment is quiet, I go to sleep.
2.       If it is day time, and the electric fan can’t function (of course), I play with my cellphone (if it is charged) and play music. If it is not then let us proceed to number 3
3.       I read books. No specifics as long as I got something to lay my eyes on.
4.       I lie down and daydream ;)
5.       I cook.
6.       I eat.
7.       I talk.
8.       I wash my clothes.
9.       I clean.
10.   I go out and stroll.
11.   I text or call someone. Or send GMs.
12.   I do numbers 1 to 11 J
I cannot say I hate black outs but it is never a happening that I could be fond of, you know. However, events like this, in the deeper sense, reminds us that we should learn how to be independent without electricity. We never know what the future might bring. We are already experiencing power shortage, lives and enjoy every moment – with or without electricity.  and solar energy is advised. No matter what, we should learn how to keep going with our
