Groping in the Dark

Most people are scared or even hate the dark. Aside from the creepy feeling it brings, we cannot see things and cannot be able to accomplish tasks. Lucky for us now, we are blessed with the wonders of electricity. Through it, everything is faster, easier and more convenient. However, during times when voltage is not available, we should learn how to be independent without it. There are not really a lot of things I do during blackouts or when there is no voltage, but I can enumerate some for you:

1.       I sleep. Especially if it is night time. I try my best to close my eyes because the darkness is the same as when I open them, and since the environment is quiet, I go to sleep.
2.       If it is day time, and the electric fan can’t function (of course), I play with my cellphone (if it is charged) and play music. If it is not then let us proceed to number 3
3.       I read books. No specifics as long as I got something to lay my eyes on.
4.       I lie down and daydream ;)
5.       I cook.
6.       I eat.
7.       I talk.
8.       I wash my clothes.
9.       I clean.
10.   I go out and stroll.
11.   I text or call someone. Or send GMs.
12.   I do numbers 1 to 11 J
I cannot say I hate black outs but it is never a happening that I could be fond of, you know. However, events like this, in the deeper sense, reminds us that we should learn how to be independent without electricity. We never know what the future might bring. We are already experiencing power shortage, lives and enjoy every moment – with or without electricity.  and solar energy is advised. No matter what, we should learn how to keep going with our
